I liked the gloves, tweezers & scissors being a part of the package. I was able to open the box & go straight to work.Value was good even though it was short a total of 6 lf. If you are doing the math & purchasing what you need and you run short, that can be extremely disappointing. Regardless, I used what I had gotten but switched to stainless steel mesh instead of the standard steel wool for the rest of my project. Just as easy to handle but supposedly won't rust. I got a 100' roll of it from amazon for $25.95. More piece of mind so I'm happy.

We’ve had a mouse problem in our garage so my husband used this to help block up small holes and we’ve noticed a huge decline. As he needed to fill some quite small gaps he found the tweezers very helpful The wool was easy to cut to length with the included scissors and you def need to use the gloves as the wool itself is very dense and good quality steel.

This kit comes with a large amount of steel wool filling holes that nuisance critters can get in. I like the way the steel wool rolls off the balls easily, allowing me to get the amount that I need without having to tug hopelessly to get some like I do with steel wool scrubbers. This stuff is easy to use and comes with scissors for cutting so I don’t have to worry about dulling my household shears. It also comes with needle nose tweezers for putting it in small holes… yes, mice can get into a hole the size of a pencil! I like having the gloves too, to protect my hands. I suggest pairing this kit with some caulking. What I do is fill holes with steel wool and cover with caulking to match what I’m working on. It’s the perfect combo of nice finish, sealing out elements and being a barrier that critters can’t chew through.
