These American made buckles are smooth, strong & uniform. They held up to abusive testing. I formed a sling and loaded it with my 200 pounds body weight, bouncing. While the buckles did deform in this use beyond design parameters they did not slip or break. I would buy again & recommend to friends.In the pic, the left & middle buckle were abused in my test. The one on the right is unused. Carabiner shown for scale.

I ordered the 1.5 size. It may seem odd when I explain why. I wear suspenders and want the type that hooks to the pants belt loops; but I didn't want to hook the suspenders there. I wear a belt. So, I ordered these Tri-Glides to slide over the belt. Now the suspenders are hooked to the Tri-Glides and the belt takes all the stress saving the belt loops from tearing.

I made a sling out of Paracord, and wanted to use webbing to make it adjustable. The Tri-Glide Slide was perfect for this. I used 2 of the 1" slides, and sewed the ends of the webbing so it was adjustable. I was worried that it wouldn't hold it's position, but after I got it together I was very happy. The adjusting slide moves up and down the webbing very easily, but it stays put.Very well constructed, and good color. I am very happy.

The one slide I received was fine but both the product description and the packaging I received (see photo) state this is a 10 pack. That is not what I received. Not sure what happened. Grossly over priced for a single small metal slide.
