This is a great product. The remote showed me to turn on and dim all my deck lights. Also third company completely stands behind their product. I bought it 4 months ago and when I had a minor issue with it they sent me a brand new one!

UPDATE: SUNTHIN Customer Service reached out to me and promptly sent a replacement device that works perfectly. I understand that "things happen" and defects occur... Thankfully the company stands behind their product and fixed the issue. The dimmer works just as marketed and I am happy with the company's response - and very happy with the product. Purchased dimmer with string lights by same company. Lights worked when not connected to dimmer - but not when connected. Swapped the fuse with the included spare and lights worked, however remote does not function (on/off, dim, etc.). Swapped battery (in case original was flawed) - nothing. The dimmer does not work.

This dimmer plug works wonderful for about 6 months. The reason I still gave it 5 stars is because they absolutely do exactly what they say they will and if you contact sunthin for any issues they will absolutely help you out with fixing the dimmer or replacing it. From what I have noticed they are just very temperamental. We live in a place it regularly storms and the power will go out. The dimmer has a fuse and it will pop that. We did not get an additional fuse in our original order but got on with our replacement.

We purchased this set in July 2019. I would say that we use our lights every other day, if not every day (we have them strung above driveway). We love the ease it provides, especially when you are able to control the lights remotely. Sadly, our remote control died last month. We never dropped it and kept it clean. Once it stopped working, we tried replacing the batteries. No luck. After much trial and error, we discovered that the battery is stuck in the "on" mode and so, we have to turn it on, open the backing and slide the battery out, otherwise, the battery will drain because it is always on. We purchased 2 other types of similar remotes and none are compatible to the dimmer switch. Bummer. I would be more than happy to buy a replacement controller but cannot seem to find it. So I am writing this review and will reach out to this vendor in the hopes that I will be able to buy a few more back up controls in the event it happens again. I will update this review soon.

Lights work so I know it’s not the lights, the remote works as the red light comes on , but the unit itself is not responding to the remote even after resetting the plug. I think it totally does after cold weather or rain and isn’t waterproof as it appears to state in the description. Of course I’m out of the return window, wired very well at first but doesn’t last clearly. So disappointed.

Just received my order and opened the box to test it. The box was sealed securely and the dimmer was wrapped and protected tightly. Tested it with my string lights and it was awesome. Remote came with an extra battery and the order arrived right on time as stated and with enough time before the event.

No funciona con ningún contacto inteligente, está obligado a prender la luz con el control. No me funciono para mi propósito ya que lo querÃa en una terraza con un contacto controlado inteligente y no me sirve. En las caracterÃsticas no se menciona esto
