When it comes to my baofeng BF-F8HP and my BTECH UV-5X3, the screw-in SMA plug looks like a little too long and does not completely sit all the way on the hand-held. This may not be the case with other brand of hand-helds. Not an issue. I does work properly. Just rememeber not to force to SMA plug all the way in to the hand--held.

Received item, and packaging feels good. Quality of product is very good, does not smell cheap, feels good to the touch, and when trying the item it worked without an issue. Have been using for 48hrs now consistently and reception has improved due to antenna convenrtion. Recommended for anyone that needs an adapter.
