I have used different mug warmers over the years that were mediocre at best but this one is a keeper! Right out of the box, this warmer is intuitive to use. I love that there are three temperatures to choose from as well as a timer that will turn off the warmer automatically after 4 hours. I am a tea drinker and like my tea hot, not tepid. This warmer does a wonderful job keeping my cup of tea just the way I like it on both the 150 and 176 degree settings. After two hours on the warmer, my tea was just as hot as when I first poured the water into the mug and still steaming! I haven't tried it at 130 as yet. It's a little larger than my old warmer but it doesn't really take up much more space on the table where I have it sitting in my hobby room, and it's very nice looking. I am so happy I purchased this warmer, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient, nice looking, and easy to use mug warmer!

This thing gets hot quick, and the controls are super simple. You only have three temperatures, but one of those should suit most anyone. I have not noticed excessive heat coming from the bottom, which was a concern of mine-I don't want to warp the veneer on my desktop.What I did find is that it gets really hot if there's no mug on it. On the 176 setting, with no mug, in less than 3 minutes the plate is at over 370 degrees. Hottest I saw was 385, so it seems to cut off before it hits 400. So it's unlikely to set something on fire, but if you set something plastic on it, it's done for. I managed to let let a plastic sandwich wrapper touch mine and it instantly stuck. I basically had to razor blade it off. But I suspect that would happen with any of these.Just a caution to be aware of.Build quality is nice, switches feel good, display is clear, and the wood is actually finished pretty well. Overall worth the money 100 percent.And this is not a paid or sponsored review.

I bought this because I had another warmer that wasn’t working as I had hoped. This one is a little more money but worth it. Big heating area to accommodate big candles, gets really hot and melts candles in no time. It has a timer and the temperature is adjustable. This warmer looks nice too. No complaints!!

Feels solid, looks as pictured, works as described. Nice long power cord and appropriately priced!I’ve even heated food in a tin mug. Safer than radiation from microwaves.Bought a second one for my parents after they decided to get rid of their microwave.

Pros—-several levels/times for heating. Heats up quickly.Cons—do not place directly on furniture—bottom of the unit is extremely hot so you need a really good heat resistant pad under it. Keep far away from children; surface doesn’t look hot but can severely burn at the high level.

Keeps my coffee hot, the lowest setting is plenty. Looks nice. A little bigger than I expected, but that just ensures even my biggest mugs will fit.

A small, neat warmer with variable heat control, and a timer which can be set from 2hours to 12 hours. So far it’s doing a great job, and I’m especially pleased that it holds my ceramic teapot with its wide base, and maintains the tea temperature beautifully.

I bought a different mug warmer "smart mug warmer" (uses infra-red to monitor temp) and it smells like an electrical fire. Causes coffee to take on that smell much like a cocktail smoker works. Terrible.I found this warmer. Simple, no offensive smell, and works great. 3 temp settings, and honestly, the mid setting (150°) is just the temp where you have to sip it (pretty hot). The 130° setting is good and warm, about where you could take a gulp.Only complaint would be the timer setting should default to 2 hours, with each button push going up by 2 hours. Default is 4 hours, so if you want 2 hours, you click through 6, 8, 10, 12, then to 2. Not a big deal but just my thoughts.Great mug warmer all around.

I chose this one to keep our teapot warm longer. It does help but I think it is best suited for mugs, preferably with flat bottoms to make good contact with the heated area. It warms up quite slowly so I wonder about the 36 watt rating. It is easy to use and looks good.

I always have a problem keeping my coffee or tea hot while working. I always end up either running around or getting too busy, and before I can finish my beverage, it turns cold and nasty. Well, this cup warmer has been a HUGE help! Ever since I got it, I haven't had to drink a nasty cold beverage once!I was worried about not being able to control the temperature precisely, but with 3 different preset temperatures this turned out not to be a problem at all. I quickly figured out that my coffee needs the lowest setting, and my tea needs a middle setting to keep both at a perfect temperature. I'm slowly learning different settings for different kinds of mugs (glass vs porcelain vs metal). It does seem to make a huge difference what kind of cup you are using, but if, like me, you have to have your coffee and/or tea in the same cup every time, you will be fine.One major concern is that if you have cats, you have to be very careful once you're done using the warmer. It takes a little while to cool down completely, and during this time you shouldn't leave it unattended for little paws to get burned on it. You should never, ever cover it with anything when it's hot, but I found that putting it under a shelf is ok - it doesn't get so intensely hot that it would damage anything that's an inch or more above it, even when it's still very hot.So as long as you are not too particular about controlling your beverage temperature down to a single degree, and as long as you are careful with it while it's cooling down, this might be a perfect thing for you.

This is the 3rd mug warmer I'm trying and, finally, I found the perfect one that keeps my 20 ozs. of coffee hot at the highest 176F setting. ! It also does NOT have the "smart function" which turns off and on automatically when it senses a change in weight. This is a very bad idea if one has young children or pets around. I'm super happy with it.
