First of all, disregard any reviews about "cracking" - if you don't know what you're doing it's ok to ask questions. ANYHOW... I was wondering if there would be a noticeable difference "stepping down" to PS from HS. Well, maybe in my 20's I might have said oh ya for sure, but no chance these days. I can't tell a bit of difference. Set my iron to 140, let cool for about 10 minutes, good scrape, two good brush passes and perfection.

It is easy to apply, and glides just as well as the Fluoro wax I had been using. I don't know how long it will last yet, as the season is just getting started, but it lasted all day on my first day of the season. Overall, this seems to perform just as well as the old stuff.

This has been my go to wax for heavenly for two years now. Easy to use perfect temp and put pack in the case when I don’t use it all it’s my season staple!

PS8 is my go to wax for spring in Oregon. The 25-39 F range is perfect for our spring conditions. It goes on well, scraps off cleanly and provides good glide.I also use PS6 for mid-season trips to Utah and Colorado.

Its hard to go wrong with a SWIX product. Nice wax for snow temps that I deal with here in the PNW. Look forward to putting down a fresh base soon.
