These worked great for me. I didn’t have any need to “retap†as other reviews have stated. I used the EASTLO 1/4-20 1 1/2 inch bolts, purchased here on Amazon, and they worked fine. To install the inserts I used a 3/8 drill bit, and then rolled the insert in Minwax paste finishing wax to ease the passage. No complaints.

Good quality and well described except for one very important aspect. The internal threads do not come all the way to the top of the insert.Obviously the threads can’t because the top of the insert’s has been shaped for the allen wrench to fit into. The allen wrench sits down into the insert about 3/16â€+/- before the internal threads start. Keep that in mind when figuring the length of the bolt you want to screw into the insert.

My speakers are made of MDF material , unfortunately you can’t use screws to put casters eventually they will fall off.. i ordered these and they work great! I can remove the casters and put them back with out damaging the cheap MDF material

I needed these to build some adjustable jigs and they've been great so far. The common size and included Allen keys make them easy to install and they are true to thread pitch.
