If my lower back starts acting up, this device works! Puts on easily with 4 contact points to tighten. Um, if you hate the sound of velcro, don't buy this. And there's something on the inside (I tried to look it up in the product description) that makes a crinkly sound as you put it on. I'm assuming that it's some heat reflective thing perhaps? But it is breathable so go figure. Anyways, if you hate the sound of like crinkling cellophane (not claiming it's cellophane but it's the most recognizable sound I can relate to), don't buy this.

Seems like a very good brace for people doing heavy work but it’s a little to bulky/restrictive for an old lady to wear around the house.

Gives a ton of support. Easy to tighten up, fits well, and is very supportive. Would highly recommend for anyone who has a back issue.

As expected

The belt feels fine when you put it on while standing, but sitting down with it on is much less comfortable. It is like digging into the bottom of the sternum which doesn't feel great. I also think it doesn't quite provide the level of lumbar support I'm looking for. So this belt may work great for some, but personally I'm not convinced it is the right product for me.

Unfortunately for me, this back brace was too small. I guess I didn’t notice the sizes when I ordered it, or it wasn’t even possible to get a bigger size, which happens sometimes. Either way, I ordered a medium and it’s too tight. I have wide hips and am a bit overweight. I can get it on but it’s uncomfortable for me to sit down.That said, I do think it’s a solid back brace. While standing up (and when it wasn’t squeezing me to death), I could definitely feel a change in my back. I felt supported and it felt great! It has two different ways to tighten it, I guess you’d say. The first way is just using the Velcro straps to get it on, THEN… you can pull free the smaller straps and make them as tight as you need to get the right amount of support.On the product page, there are two different size charts. One in the product images and one beneath the product info. Judging from my own experience with this brace, I would say the one under the product information is more correct. The one that says large is for 145 to 190 lbs. I got the medium, and it’s just barely too small. So I think a large would have been perfect.Overall, I cannot fault the brace for my mistake. What little I could wear it, it felt great. I’m tempted to order another one in a large because I’ve always had back issues and a back brace is just what I need to make my back feel better.
