Likes:The motor is very quiet, it looks really nice, it works well, the added pot for a small plant is cool, the price is reasonable (paid $40 for it), the power cord is decently long, water doesn't splash.Dislikes:I really don't want the light on and there is not a switch to turn it on and off. I'm pretty sensitive to light. It's a small light but even if I just look at the fountain for a few seconds, not at the light itself but just the fountain in general, and look at something else after, I can still see that light. It'd be nice if there a switch or if we could dim it or have different colors for it. When I have more time, I'll have to figure how to disconnect the light adapter.The only other detail I don't like is that you have to unplug the electrical cord from the outlet/power strip to turn it on and off. I'll probably end up attaching it to a smart plug to control it on and off without having to routinely unplug and re-plug it. The power cord could've been made so that it was two pieces with an on/off switch so that 1) You can easily turn it on and off without having to plug and re-plug and 2) When it is time to clean and/or refill, it would be easier to disconnect and reconnect.Preferences:The water could be louder, which is the reason why I got it in the first place -- the sound of water is very calming to me and genuinely makes me feel happier; but that's a personal preference and not on them. I'll probably experiment with some small stones to see if I can get the sound a little bit louder. If you try the same just make sure that you're careful to not block the hole, are mindful of possible splashing and mindful of not overfilling the water tank.Additionally, if you do not plan on using that spot made for an actual plant, you can use different colors of dye to change the color of the water. That's also another reason why I think it would be cool if we could change the light color so it's not just white; at least made it amber. White is just a boring light color for a product like this. Now that I am thinking about it, dying the water a different color could also lessen the light as well.Overall:5/5, easily. It's easily a good product for the price and do recommend. If it had been more, say around $60, I would've given it a 4 due to the power cord and not being able to adjust the light by turning it on and off. Regardless, I would've still recommended it anyway. I also like that I was able to get it with Prime quickly. Also a really good bonus ðŸ‘

Not perfect but then you wouldn’t expect it to be for the price. Seller was nice. Don’t expect to have the water falls fall in a perfect V shape forever. They might but mine didn’t. But I tell myself it looks more natural this way, like it would fall in cave. Lights are still working months later. Really warm color, nice at night, relaxing sound. Big tips: place this fountain on a piece of foam like you find in some shipping boxes, or another vibration absorptive material. The fountain gave off a hum when I first placed it down, but after putting a layer of foam between it and the surface, it is silent now except for the water sounds which are relaxing. Hooked it up to a smart switch, can control with my voice! Very cool. Also be sure to have a bottle of water you keep full nearby because whether due to evaporation or splashing, water does leave this thing at an alarming rate, so expect to top it up once a week or so if you’re using it regularly. Got a sand crystal on top of mine — I call it my Sun Temple. Reminds me of Mayans. I know I also have good taste in cars. Enjoy!

Lovely little item, truly.I don’t understand why people complain about the water noise or splashing, all you have to do is place pebbles where the water pours and then no more noise or splashing.Leave top bowl (level 3) alone.Leave middle bowl (level 2) alone, place one of the larger rocks where the water from this bowl hits the platform.Bottom bowl with light (Level 1), if you want to remove the sound where water from level 3 drops into the lighted level 1 bowl, place a rock leaning against the orange light in the bowl where the water from the level 3 bowl lands and that will stop the splashing sound.If you line up the pebbles against the edge of the platform you will also cut down any noise from the motor.You can top off the water by pouring it into the little hole in the back, where the power cord is supposed to come out of the water pump.... so you don’t have to remove the platform to do that. However, it is tedious to once a week clean the item. You have to remove the pebbles to fully clean it and then have to replace them when done. If you use clear not hard water, you can clean it every few weeks rather than once a week..NOTE: Make sure you run it hard during the first few weeks so if there is a pump problem, you can return it to amazon. I did wind up having a pump issue and THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT DOES NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS.

At first the fountain works perfectly, the pump was silent. But after a while, 3 hrs, it started to make a low humming noise even when the water level was almost full. I checked the pump and realised it was overheating. Sadly, I am not sure what cause this issue
