My 2024 Dodge Charger finally had the motorized trunk latch go out. Motor was bad and too weak to activate the latch mechanism. Purchased this and it was an easy install. The hardest part was pulling out the push clips for the carpet covering. Luckily, I had the tools that are designed for removing trim pins and clips. Worked great.

I have a 2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible touring with a 6 cylinder. It fit fine I had to swap over the two plastic clips that hold the cable to unlock it with the key. The power plug is the same form factor. It works great with the key or the remote or the button inside the car. Be sure to also replace the two gas supports on the trunk/boot lid. And consider checking the plug for power feeding to it one wire is 12 volts constant. One is Signal, one is ground. It was a great buy at 20-30 bucks. The dealership wanted 100 plus .

Well made works perfectly for my Challenger. Pressing the tear trunk lid switch would be a maybe or maybe not affair opening. The key FOB and interior switch always worked. So this specific unit is identical construction to the original OEM in the car. Perfect fit and the interior emergency pull tab is the identical length. It works like a new original part. Check plus!

I bought this latch for my 2017 Chrysler 300, after my local dealership wanted 125.00. I installed this latch in about 20 minutes, it's a very straightforward installation, involving one electrical connection and two screws. Used on my 2015 Charger. Watched a YouTube video on how to remove the old one, then installed this one extremely easy. From having my gf go inside the trunk through the seats to pull the handle to open the trunk, to it going exactly back to normal I am extremely happy.
