Description:
1. Stainless steel precision cast valve body with reasonable structure and beautiful appearance, spring device used in pipeline system to prevent backflow of medium.
2. The valve body is usually in the closed state. According to the pressure of the medium pointed through the valve body arrow, the valve will be opened under the resistance of the spring.
3. When the medium pressure is lower than the medium pressure at the outlet end, the spring will push the spool back and close the valve to prevent the medium from backflowing.
4. Light weight, easy to install, can be installed in the horizontal and vertical direction of the pipeline, spool closing speed, water hammer pressure is small, good sealing performance.

I got these to use with my homemade water rocket launcher so that each rocket in the launcher maintained its own pressure vs sharing a single pressure chamber, I won't be able to test it fully until the weather warms up, but some simple in-shop testing and it appears to do the job... Built quality and finish is consistent with many other stainless fittings I have used...

This is a standard flap check valve that seems to be well built. The outside is clearly marked CF8M which corresponds to 316 Stainless steel. As with many flap check valves, the sealing surface is metal on metal so slight leakage is to be expected. The FNPT threads on this are cut sharp and fit nicely with other fittings making installation easy. The valve was shipped with plastic plugs in each end to protect the threads during shipment.

I have not been able to get the check valve into service. I usually use brass check valves. Thread cuts look good. I think with adequate thread paste this should work well. Four stars because I have not put it into service yet. When the winter passes it will be put on my sand point irrigation well.

It's pretty hard to get excited over plumbing parts except when their expertly made of stainless steel and appear to be of the highest quality, like industrial level quality.I have'nt installed this part yet but in testing it, it should work absolutely fine and again is very very solid and heavy and appears to be made of stainless steel. I have a feeling this part will outlive me.

Good casting, clean-cut threads, no leaks.I was nervous about the lateral play at the flapper-pin connection, but I have had zero issues thus far. This is preventing backflow from a 75psi pressure tank and booster system into a measly 27psi city supply. This is the second line of defense, in case of emergency.Tested by rigging up the 75psi system to the delivery side of the valve and trying to force water back through it. No issues observed.

Well made check valve but there is no gasket on the plunger so it likely won't totally seal off the flow. Might work for applications where some flow is permissible.
