Both of my girls have taken up tap dancing. They got some tap shoes but it was causing damage to our floor. This dance mat was the perfect option. It is really well built but also light enough for them to move around in their own. It was way cheaper than ones available through tap shoe companies. It produces a great snappy tap sound. The size was perfect for use and storage. Highly recommend for anyone looking to practice tap skills without damaging floors.

If you need a convenient, lightweight, portable board for dance practice, this is a great, lower cost option. It can easily be stored under a bed or in a closet and is well-built and the perfect size for amateur practice at home. The wood is not of the highest quality, but for its purpose, it's perfect.

I like the handle. The sound is nice. Surface is a little slippery for taps without rubber. Right out of the box it had a lot of dings.

We are a dancing family or kids go to dance several times a week so they love to practice inside. We purchased five different bands for and this was definitely in our top three. We did not have any warping like I’ve seen in the photos below. The kids love that she’s been telling everyone in her class about it. Very happy with the product!

My daughter has danced for 14 years and always struggled with the right place to practice at home. Her studio is requitung at home make up practice when they miss a certain amount so we needed something. Another mom told me about products like this and I settled on this one for her. She lit up when she opened this and just loves using it. She is able to put it under her bed when not on use and pull it out when ready to use it.

Truth be told... it took a bit to get this delivered BUT that has nothing to do with the quality of this product. Bought this for our tap dancing daughter for a gift. It's perfect!!! I'll come back and update after she gets more use with it!Would recommend.!!!
