As apartment dwellers, we ordered one of these for our daughter so that she could practice tap in our home without bothering our downstairs neighbors and so far it has worked wonders. She loves to be able to have a space set up for her to rehearse what she went over in class and play/experiment on her own. The unit feels very stable and flat, looks attractive, and doesn't move as she's using it.

Well laminated and the feet are spread out in a pattern that completely prevents movement or flexing. Highly recommend for tap practice!

I’m a beginner adult starting ballet and I can only afford to take one class per week so I decided to buy this hard floor mat (and barre!) to use at home so I can practice a bit everyday. Floor is hard on my feet but it’s better than practicing on carpet or damaging my wooden floor. No complaints and very happy I got it

i was worried about this tap floor because of the unclear pictures and limited reviews (and affordable price) but this thing is GREAT! TOtally saving my tile floors 😉 not sure if it would be the best for expert tappers but it’s great for an intermediate/beginner like me. :)

The first time I received this item there were several areas around the border of the board that were rough/unfinished, so I requested a replacement. Not only did the replacement have the same problem around the edges, there were several defects in the finish of the board, itself, so I returned that one, as well and will not be asking for another replacement.

Floor sits well on foam backing and sturdy. Price reasonable. Extremely heavy to carry and dented on first use.
