We were afraid this would not work on our floors as they are a little coarser than I would like. But this wax is perfect. We plan to take it with us to the senior centers where we dance to put over in a corner where we can periodically refresh it on our shoes.

I have struggled for 6 years with my laminated dance floor getting tacky when the air is humid. Luckily I live in CA where I don't have this issue for 6-7 months of the year, but during the rainy season it's awful. My students are seniors and the sound of sneakers squeaking on the floor means that people are sticking. An application of Bona Polish would fix the issue for a few days, but then right back to tacky.ONE APPLICATION of the smallest amount has cured my floor from its seasonal woes. I'm a Zumba and Zumba Gold instructor. We shimmy a lot and not everyone has pivot points on their shoes. My #1 objective for safety is for people's knee joints. So a sticky floor is anathema. We are sticking no more!Caution: A little goes a long way. I sprinkled what I thought was just a little bit on my 700 sq ft floor. It was too slippery. So I took my Bona mop with a dry velcro pad and "swept" the extra wax into the corners. After a day or two we found the sweet spot. And when the humidity in the room goes over 60% and I feel the first hint of stickiness, I go over to a pile of wax powder and just stick the balls of my feet into it and no more sticking.Amazing stuff.

This is a great product, you only need to apply a little bit on the floor. Be careful if you use to much it will make your dance floor feel like ice skating.
