I bought this tape, hoping it would work to keep our entryway rug down. It was constantly sliding all over. This stuff worked great! I put it on about a month ago and The rug is still exactly where I put it. There are six people in this house and two large dogs plus all the vacuuming and the rug has not moved at all. I did not find it difficult to work with as some reviews stated. I used a razor blade to cut the tape to the size I wanted. The tape is nice and durable and was a great purchase that I would highly recommend if you’re trying to keep a rug in place!

THIS IS MY THIRD TRY WITH CARPET TAPE AND I FINALLY HIT PAY DIRT. THE OTHERS STILL MADE MY CARPETS SLIDE OFF THEIR PAD BUT AFTER 5 DAYS, MY CARPET IS STILL STAYING IN PALACE AND I EXPECT IT WILL STAY THAT WAY SO THANKS A LOT FOR A REALLY GOOD PRODUCT.

A lot of other brands i reviewed made it very clear they were not for rubber backed rugs. One of the reviewers of this one said it worked on rubber backed rug so i gave it a try and it worked like a charm.My robo vacuum cleaner could not manage it before. Now with the rug tape, the bathroom rug stays in place and my robo vac has no issues.

I ordered the 12 yard roll to use on my laundry room rug since it did not come with any slide resistance backing. I made sure to wash the tile floor prior to laying down the tape and rug. It's been about a week and so far the rug has not moved a touch. I did have to use a razor blade to cut through the tape, but with doing so it cut easily. Applied the tape in various areas on the back of my rug and laid it down. The tape is very sticky, but when initially laying down the rug I didn't press down on the rug in any areas and was still able to lift and re align my rug on the tile floor to get it where I wanted it. Once I did, I just walked on the rug in all areas with the tape and it's holding firm. I will definitely use the remainder of the roll for other rugs through out our house. I am unsure what the removal of the tape is like, but if you want your rug to stay where it's at this does the job.

My rubber mat's edges were going up since day 1. It never went down and finally pulled the trigger on this tape. Although it worked, I already saw some area going up already, so I took a star off because replacing a part will require you to replace more than you think you need

This carpet tape is exactly as it’s says. We live on the highest point in our county and the wind blows most days here. We use this to tape down any and all things outdoors; rugs, pots etc. super strong hold and we only replace when we replace the rug or pot or cushions.

Good adhesion on most surfaces but not all I used it on a carpet runner which had a synthetic backing and it would not adhere so I had to put it on the edge. Be aware that you will need a Sharpe knife to cut it as it will stick to scissors and leave a residue which is hard to get off good value for money what would also say it can be difficult to remove from carpet as it sticks to well would I buy again ...yes

Fabulous tape which is EXTRA strong. Used it to place and se ire a runner in the hall. Unfortunately , I misjudged the width between each side of the hallway , so the runner was more to one side than the other.Spent a good 30 minutes wrestling valiantly with the runner to try to get it off the tape. If only I could have sold tickets to that event. The tape almost won but only by a whisker.This is the best tape I have ever had a fight with.

I ordered these to replace some fur, which I have lining some old riding boots, for a Santa outfit. The old tape was too thin and was peeling, after one year.This stuff, though, is heavy duty and very very strong! I think it will take off the top layer of leather, if I remove it, but then it’s not meant for what I see it for. It cut very easily with a scalpel, and trimmed very well, until stuck down.Then…? Well, the glue is so strong, I just pressed the piece into place, and it stuck to itself (overlapping slightly) like it was made that way. So strong! I didn’t have to worry about it lifting, that’s for sure! It was nice and flexible too and formed to the shape of the boot, to fit like a glove.Superb functionality, overall. I haven’t had to remove it yet, and doubt I ever will, as the new fur is also excellent and easy to clean.Overall, I couldn’t be happier, and will be ordering more, to use to put up acoustic panels on a small sound booth I am making for narration. I think it’s ideal for the job!I cannot recommend this more highly!
