These are like many others I've used but a little tougher. My other ones bent and broke just by tightening them. These held up better. I've used these for tarps and for pool reels. Careful in the pool though as the chemicals can weaken these.

Over all the Tarp Clips Clamps Heavy Duty Lock Grip with Bungee Cords, Shark Shade Backdrop Cloth Tent Large Clip Hook Accessories for Garden Outdoor Pool Tarp Tie Downs Canvas Solar Cover RV Awning requested From the OPPKEPT Store.I set these tarp clamps up on my mesh sun shade on my 5th wheel RV with awning extended out. The clams performs well and has a good clamping action. Easy to set up and use. Sturdy and stout. I am curious of the longevity and how well the plastic will withstand the UV. Although the “About This Item†says is has UV resistant properties. So take it hose you want. To me, at the time of this review, they are new and work and perform nicely.When I first say this item, I check the listing for the quantity. In deeper into the listing under “ Product Desciptionâ€. Just what I needed for my camper. I use a tarp to put up over my bunk ends to keep the heat out and it's hard to get cords on it to tie down this made it easier. So far no issues.

My error, should have looked at the exact measurements on the bungee cord. The bungee cords were too small. Not sure how you'd use these alone on a tent. Definitely need a longer cord to reach the ground for a stake or ?? I had hoped to use these for a patio project but they aren't going to work at all. For me, the grip on clips needed to be longer for a stronger hold in the wind, and bungee cords needed to be a lot longer to tie down. Clips only hold/grip about 1.25" of material. Seemed strong and well made, but again, didn't work for me.

We can tie down the tarps without adding holes or grommets.

These clamps will work in most situations where you need to clamp to fabric shade cloth or a tarp. .My only complaint is that if you back the thumb screws off far enough to clamp to heavy duty material, the screws can and will fall off. But backing them all the way off is the only way you can get the jaws open far enough for some applications.There are eight clamps, and they come with eight very short bungee cords. They are loops with a ball knob on one end. They might be useful in some situations, but you can also use cord to tie them to something.The price is good, and the material seems to be tough plastic that will probably last a long time.

I use a lot of tarps but no matter what, you tend to find yourself needing to tie down an area that doesn't have a grommet. These gator style clamps are perfect for getting the perfect tie down spot even if there isn't a grommet in that specific area and also allows you to make use of tarps that may have been ripped and damaged. They clip on and bite down in seconds and have a great amount of grip so the tarp doesn't break free. These sets are rather cheap and a must have with any kit that includes a tarp for cover.

Although this are all plastic, they do appear to be a heavier gauge plastic which is needed to use these to strap down a 5X8 tarp. I like how easy they clip on to nearly any fabric or tarp that is a 1/4 inch thick. I also appreciate the versatility in how they can be used, allowing them to be easily relocated without have to put a whole in the tarp. They don't do any damage to fabric as they fit firmly on the edge and cover an inch or more space to stay connected. Overall pleased and since they come with some bungee cords that is a double bonus.

I was looking for some clips to hang a large art canvas that my daughter had created for her GCSE art final and these did the job perfectly. I used some picture hanging hooks to hang them from. Great value for money.
