I had bought another skimmer/ladle but it turned out to be too flat to hold eggs without them falling off so I returned it. This one has just a little more concavity so it holds four eggs at a time well allowing me to lower them gently into the hot water. It also works well for getting them out when they're done.

I purchased this slotted spoon to replace a plastic one. I was a bit reluctant as it is shallow and wide. However when using it I found it to be well balanced and the wide shallow bowl allows more items to be drained per “ spoonfulâ€. It is well made and solid.

I was looking for a scoop to use in the frying pan on the side of my BBQ. It had to be metal because the oil can get pretty hot so I was worried about plastic. I found this scoop and the price was reasonable so I ordered it. It came here very quickly and worked perfectly. I really liker that it is one solid piece of metal so I will never have to worry about the handle coming off or coming apart in some way. Great item.

Often times it can be a hit and miss purchasing items from Amazon. Not so with this slotted spoon. At first I was hesitant about quality due to the not so great picture posted on Amazon but now I have this item in person, I absolutely love it. It is great for straining and it is well constructed. My only wish is that I had purchased sooner. Great product and I highly recommend.

This is the skimmer/ slotted spoon most closely matching the design of my Millvado Utensil Set. It shares the ruggedness, and excellent 'feel' in your hands of that set.
