Got this to drill holes in 1.5 square metal tubing. Work well drilled a clean hole for 5/8 rod.

Was expecting okay performance, and expect to burn atleast one up. ordered both 3/4" and 7/8"two packs. For the money I didn't expect much, but these far out performed my expectations. They work extremely well. used both sizes to drill dozens of holes through 1/2" mild steel, still using the first ones I chucked up with not signs of wear and no deterioration of hole quality.

Cuts through hard steel easily and a great price. I just bored out two holes on a hitch shaft for my 2†receiver and these cut the holes easily, leaving the shaft with hitch pin holes that look like factory cuts. Definitely worth the buy.

Not made for metals. Drilled 2 holes through 1/4" steel and burnt my bit up. These were a replacement for my asnomy kit but that one lasted and worked great until I wasnt paying attention and the teeth slammed into the metal and brok 4 out of 5 of the teeth off. Dont waste your money unless your using for plastics or woods maybe. I do upfitting for mechanics trucks, dump trucks, water trucks and flat bed trucks so quality matter not quatity. 1st pic is the new replacement 2nd pic is the Asnomy kit I was replacing and drilled at least 12 holes with.
