I have really high ceilings. I use this to open and close vents throughout the seasons. The magnet on the back unscrews and replaces the hook. This makes it so useful. It reaches really far and it is super easy to use. The quality is mid-grade, so you need to make sure you do not pry too hard when using the tool. The size is variable and it extends extremely far. The wand is very light weight and would be great for elderly people that need to get from far away without having to move.

The only issue I have with that is the hook end keeps unscrewing and falls off. I lost one hook already. But otherwise it’s really great because it reaches far. I use it for geocaching to reach things.

We were so excited to find something that looked like it fit the bill. This item was purchased to be carried in a back pack to reach small items and be a "handy tool". The item arrived quickly, but the magnet on the bottom was "slightly askew....wouldn't sit properly from the start. The pole was extended about 3 hours after purchase and we tried to move a small roll of paper towels. The hook was spinning freely. We managed to get it locked in to place and then it bent rather than move the paper towels. Later in the evening, the pole was again extended and upon reaching a higher shelf to get a light weight item down, it snapped in two. It looked to be a neat take on this concept, but unfortunately, it was very poor quality/execution

I drive a scrubber in the stadium. The stadium maintenance employees, tend to drop screws, washers, nuts and bolts. My machine cannot get these things up without doing damage to the machine so I used a magnetic tool to pick up what I can when I see it. It stands nearly 4 ft long which is perfect for this machine for the money and the value. It was worth it when you got to protect these. Squeegees on the back of the machine and your bars. Don't want to keep replacing them cuz they're expensive and then plus any damage they may do going up inside the machine. It could hurt other components as well but it's very easy to use. You just pull out the wand then the length you feel you need. Aiming for your object. Snag it. Pull back up and you have your item that you're trying to retrieve it is pretty stable and sturdy. It's also very compact brand and it's in the compact closed position. You can carry it in your back pocket or your backpack and it's also great when you have to push your side mirrors out a little bit or pull them in

I use this to fetch the ball out of the ocean when by brat of a dog won't bring it all the way to the beach because the beach bum won't come out of the water!
