Just what we needed, makes filtering a lot easier. We were able to use 3 pre-filters at a time, when one gets clogged up you dump it into the next pre-filter and keep going. Also makes the main filter a lot easier to clean since the main gunk gets caught in the pre-filters. And the pre-filters clean super easy, just hot water and rinse, and they're reusable.

These pre-filters do a good job of collecting debris thereby giving the Orlon filter a chance to to a better job and leave them a little easier to rinse out. We use the pre-filter every time. They can be rinsed & re-used a time or 2 if the amount run though is small like ours is. Will buy more.

This definitely helped with our maple syrup process this year. It's a great tool to have on hand. The previous year we used a potato sack towel and this product seemed to filter much better.

Definitely a must have for filtering your maple syrup and helps your Orlon filter last longer. Easy to clean too.
