I purchased the PondSkim to remove leaves from my pond. It worked great and I was able to get a majority of the leaves out. All you do is cast it out and pull it in. My only suggestion is to include a longer rope.

Holes in the mesh are too large, watermeal goes right through.

Just to be fair this is well made, but severely overpriced for what it does.I used this the same day I received it, to clear duckweed and leaves from our pond.Once you get the hang of throwing it correctly, and it will wear you out, I found that I can collect the same amount of debris with my pole skimmer than I get with this item.I am returning this, mainly because of the price and what it accomplishes.If this was priced around the $70-$80 price range it might be worth it but definitely not at the current price.Just to update my review and this is something everyone should know because I didn’t know..This is NOT a FREE RETURN product..I live in Tx and to ship this item back cost me $65 for UPS slow/cheapest delivery.I’ve used these guys products for years now but after the cost of the return, I will now be using the competitions products.That return shipping cost was ridiculous and just doesn’t set right with me.So buyer beware, it is definitely over priced .

The rope is 20 feet but I tied another 20 feet on to it so I could throw out further. I had lots of chara grass on surface of my pond and it clears it quickly. The best product out of many chemicals and algae removers I used.

The pond skim worked great. Albeit it took sometime to figure the best way to deploy it but after that it works beautifully.
