Everything lined up perfectly and installation took maybe 15 minutes! Very happy with the quality and appearance!

This install was a piece of cake. There is a difference in the positioning of the water connection between the Aqua-Magic Style II and the 2013 Style Lite we replaced. This meant that I would have needed to cut and rebuild a PEX connection. Instead, I bought a Sharkbite PEX adapter and connected the toilet using a standard flexible hose. Problem solved. If you plan to use a sprayer like the one you see in our photo, don't forget to snip the tip of the connection. I'll get to it one of these days 😛!Lastly - we replaced the seat based on the reviews here with a Kohler seat from Home Depot. The installed nylon screws stripped before they were even tight so plan on getting creative. The screws that came with the Kohler toilets were fine but the nylon nuts were junk so we had to grab some washers and build our own setup. Not hard and sorry I don't have photos of those.Overall, we really love this upgraded toilet. Our RV gets newer and newer with every upgrade!

Super easy to install, the bowl is porcelain so it is much nicer than the original toilet. Works perfectly, 15 min install. My Camper is a 2022 and the original toilet failed already. I'm confident this one will last for years

The bowl is easy to clean. I would redesign the seat lid. It is very hard to clean as it looks like a maze. Other than that it was easy to install,is good quality and the height is perfect. It is comfortable.Doesn't leak and works very well.

As a full timer I decided to replace my older throne. Pretty easy getting old out, just broke the old flange bolts off. Pretty corroded, original equipment. Be sure you get the holding tank flushed well, gotta love what stays in there.Wish a new flange had come with the flange bolts and gasket, but it bolted right up. Only problem with the H2O line was that I had previously installed a Sharkbite pex to 3/8" thrd. cut off valve and typical toilet supply hose to old unit. The supply hose was compression style and the inlet at toilet was 1/2" NPT plastic with straight cut, not with the beveled ID. Rather than try to take the end of inlet down so the comp. thrd. fitting would grab I found a brass 1/2" x 1/2" Male by female thrd. fitting as adapter. Now the picture is another story. After install and checking the new crapper out I found that block of foam below the ball. Tried to get my hand in there but really didn't want to call 911 because I got my paw stuck in the toilet on Sunday. Be sure to check for anything in the throat before your install. Used a pair of salad tongs to fish the foam block out......Salad anyone?I like the style, ceramic bowl, and the fact a normal toilet seat can be installed. It's seat is wider for fat asses, the bowl is deeper which prevents blue ball and splash back. Pedestal sits slightly farther back than original, but fits just fine. Able to install my turd squirter from old unit right to the toilet valve. I had bought a squirter for a sink years ago and hooked it up. It dribbles just a little, but so do I, it's prerequisite for those sticky situations. Thumbs up Thetford.

I have literally never written a review until now, although I count on them all the time, so here’s my $0.02. Bought this toilet to replace the 16 yr old one, smaller, all plastic, and discolored (but worked fine) toilet in my permanent-setup RV. I normally consider about 50% or more of the bad reviews I read as people who either expect more than they’re willing to pay for, or the problem is with them…not the product. In this case, every negative thing I read about this product came to fruition for me.First the critical stuff: just like some other reviews, my flush valve (water inlet) began leaking onto the floor pretty badly just after the 1 yr mark. I got sick of having to wipe up a small puddle with each flush, so now I have a nice little bowl at the base of my toilet to collect the water. I would consider swapping out the valve if not for all the other issues. Next, within the first 6-9 months, the bowl stopped reliably holding water after a flush. It’s gotten worse over time, and now about 50% of the time I go to use the toilet, the bowl will be completely empty - I’d I do try to finagle the flush operation to try and ensure everything closed up properly before leaving the bathroom. This means more likely to have stains, odors, and a faster degrading o-ring which will keep making the problem worse. Those defects are on the manufacturer. The last two things are not so much defects, as they are just truly horrible design. With that said, it’s on me (or you if you decide to purchase), because you can see and read about them before you make the purchase. First, the seat is just HORRIBLY designed. I had read reviews about the seat and thought “maybe they are clean freaks†or “maybe they should stop peeing on their seatâ€. The problem is that the geometry and size of the bowl almost guarantees you will have a lot of splatters to clean compared to a standard toilet (no matter how careful you are). Maybe in a house with all females or dudes who sit to pee, this wouldn’t be so much of an issue, but for the rest of us, this seat will need to be cleaned a lot, and the way the seats are molded this is a nightmare. Imagine trying to wipe the butter out of the squares in a waffle…a very disgusting waffle. It’s truly surprising that those seats made it to mass production, but then again, I said “oh well†and made the purchase myself, soooo, yeah.Lastly, the geometry of the bowl and seat really is weird. Now, a tush is like a fingerprint - each one is different - and I think my parents gave me Noassatols with my vitamins when I was growing up, because I have pretty much no a$$ at all… However, my tush (6’ 170lbs) literally feels like I’m going to fall into the bowl if I don’t sit with my legs spread apart, which is uncomfortable, and, well…weird. In summary, if you did your homework, you should be aware of what I call the design flaws. If you accept them, that’s on you - you’ve been warned (obviously, because you read this far). As for the failures, that’s a different story. I get that there are always some lemons in a production lot, and it does seem like the failure rate isn’t SUPER-high from the other reviews. However, because swapping or disassembling and repairing a toilet after just 15 months is super crappy (pun 100% intended), even a relatively small chance, in retrospect, should have been enough for me to steer clear.Who knows…there are people out there who like to lease new cars every couple years so they always have something new and fresh to drive…maybe there are people who like to swap their toilets every 15 months?? Not me. I run my vehicles (and toilets) as long as I can, so this was definitely a bad experience for me.Waiting to see how the company handles my complaints, since (surprise surprise) the failures happened just as the warranty expired.I will say, it’s a nice looking toilet for an RV! You will love it until at least the first time you sit on it or clean it ;-).

This toilet is much better than the cheap plastic toilet that came with our RV. Very happy with our decision to buy this toilet.

Despite having read that it comes with a ceramic bowl, I hadn't really made the connection that it would be sturdier and more comfortable than our existing plastic toilet. It was lower than our existing toilet too, which I find a lot better! It was easy to install, it looks good and has a strong flush. I'm still getting used to the flush, sometimes I'm too fast and it will bubble up but most of the time I get the speed right and it flows right down. The underside of the bowl is in fact a pain to clean like the other reviewers said, but it's still a huge improvement for us so I'm happy about how it all worked out.

I’m a 70-year-old woman used the deep socket with a ratchet. Had it done in four minutes the hardest part was getting up off of the floor lol. It works amazing putting the waterline on was easy. It functions great.

Our RV is only 3 years old. When we turned our water on, our toilet wouldn't stop running water into the bowl. We replaced the valve and had our toilet in and out at least 10 times. We thought it was fixed. In the night, I heard water running. IT WAS THE TOILET! Darn it. Turned the water off. We could no longer trust this toilet. We decided to replace it. We replaced it with the exact same toilet. It works for us. The height, the look, the porcelain bowl, the foot lever..........we just like it. It was easy to install and is working like a dream. This is a good toilet despite our first one. We are happy to have another exactly the same.

Easy to install, but this was a hard and expensive lesson to learn. The photo on the right was the reason for changing out the toilet, believe it or not this much damage was done by a plastic cup falling from the cabinet above. Still can’t believe a plastic cup can break a porcelain toilet bowl🤦â€â™€ï¸.
