Gota say, very sturdy product. Well made, nothing flimsy about it. I'm using these to sort my misc bolts and nuts into storage bins. I would buy again, and I do recommend to others.

This is for the B0D3SZX496 Nut and Bolt Thread Checker - Bolt Size and Thread Gauge SAE and Metric - 31 Size.The whole gauge is made of 2 solid plates of solid aluminum (aluminium).I found this on after searching for one that had 4-40 sized screws and nuts.Not only did it have that size it also has 2mm, 3mm, 2-56, 4-40 but no 3-48 sizes.I wont mount the plates anywhere as it's light enough to carry anywhere you want.Please don't use the studs or sockets to clean your hardware up. NO Rust or other debris!

These are very well made and I appreciate the expanded set of thread options. They are higher quality than the cheap ones I got from HF but because the male parts are fixed to the board, you can't take them to the work and test a female thread. If you only want to check the threads on nuts, these will do it. However, I sometimes have a device with a threaded hole I want to measure. There's no way to use this for that purpose. However for what it is, it's very good quality..

Thick(0.25 inch) and hard anodized stud and tapped hole plate. Be gentle inserting unknown screws to ensure not cross threading them and damaging the plate. Otherwise you will get years and years of useful life from this purchase.
