I definitely wasn't expecting this to be as big as it is. This gives you a lot of coverage, and I love the fact that it attaches the top of my jeep. I expect it to be a little heavier. But surprisingly, it's pretty light.The material is very durable, gives you great shade, and it's really easy to set up

We've been shopping for some time for a retractable awning so thought we would give the Timberline a try. I could tell this was a quality product just by the color instructions and the multiple fastening systems and general heavy dutyness of the assembly. It comes with two powder coated sturdy L brackets that fasten onto your roof rack crossbars. There is a pic in the listing that clearly shows this. We had it installed in about 30 minutes. Opening is a cinch and since we live in the desert we use sacks full of sand instead of pegs to stabilize the awning strings when deployed. Very affordable and very well built!
