This is my 3rd N120. I replaced my old 40 gallon tank heater years ago with one of these and never looked back. I have found that these last 5 to 6 years on average, for a family of 4, in an 1800 sqft House. Great water heaters! Easy temp adjustments! Once you have it plumbed and a breaker installed, replacing it only takes about 45 minutes.Caution: The hot is HOT. so adjust temp accordingly.I will buy again and again

We stayed in a small vacation home in Mississippi, that our friend owned. It had one of these tankless units installed in it and our friend said it worked great. So when we built our guest house we installed the same unit in it. It has worked perfectly for 12 years then we started noticing the screen filter on the kitchen faucet kept getting clogged with debris. About 6 months after this we noticed a slow water leak at the bottom of the water heater. It appears that one of the two cylinders in the unit had corroded and was causing the clog in the kitchen sink, then the leak. We ordered a replacement, the same model, and received it in just a couple of days. We could hear something loose, like a screw, rolling around inside the cover of the new unit so we sent it back and got a replacement. The replacement also had a small something loose inside of it, but we installed it anyway. It appears to be working fine, not sure what might be rattling around inside but it apparently isn't a problem. It was easy to remove and replace, didn't even need a plumber. The unit works great, heats water fast, isn't expensive and doesn't seem to cause high electric bills. You do have to have the faucet turned to nearly all hot in the cold months, but that is true in our home to that has a traditional tank water heater.

My old 45 gallon water heater sprung a leak, I decided to go tankless, because of the reviews I decided on this one, the hardest part wasn't the installation of the heater it was replacing all the old plumbing and whoever said it took 30 amp double pole is wrong it takes a 60 amp double pole and the copper wire has to be switched to 6 gauge to get it to run safely, because I'm using well water there is a constant fluctuation in temperature, when I took a shower I had to keep adjust the cold water up and down but it felt good to finally take a shower, then my wife discovered turning the temperature down to medium (3 lights) it works better with hardly any cold water added so I'll start doing that but we'll have remember to turn the temperature up (5 lights) when we run the dishwasher to sanitize and the washing machine for white clothes, sometimes you have to compromise. I would recommend the Titan but beware it is a lot of work putting it in if you're replacing old plumbing and adding a sediment filter and changing the wire size. The best thing I like about an on demand is it's like the difference between a four-wheeler and a horse, when you get done with the four-wheeler you put it away and it doesn't waste any more energy until next time you ride, with a horse you put it away and you keep feeding it until the next ride, figuratively that's the difference between the two types of water heaters and the contrast in size, the on demand is much easier to get in and out of the house.

Companies lead people to believe you will save huge money on your bill if you have a tankless heater (since putting in 3 various brands over the years, bill has increased 25% on avg.). Rheems are the worst, 2 year life span tops. What most don't know is, the further away from the faucet your heater is, the longer the water has to run before its warm. These are extremely power hungry (6 gauge wire, dual 60 amp breaker) Ours is in the garage, so we waste 3-4 gallons waiting for the water to get hot. This is NOT saving you money. The only way these can be classified as "Instant hot water", is if it's mounted very close the the faucet...within a couple feet. Love how companies word the benefits like this to make a sale. On the plus side, this brand has lasted longer than the others....7 years.

I've had this heater for over 5 years now. I will 100% buy it again when this one fails (if ever) I installed it myself, and it has done everything as it should and saved me money in the process (my electric bill went down about 30 bucks a month) if you're debating on going tankless you can't go wrong with this. If I have one honest con is this heater heats up water more the slower it goes in soo it makes it kind of hard to adjust tempature in the shower but it is doable you just have to be very easy with your adjustments or the heater well turn off completely for not pulling enough water through, only reason for 4/5 stars on the tempature control, but not a deal breaker by any means. Get this heater!
