I've had these about 2 months and my teenage son and I each use them 4-5 times per week - so they've had at least 50 hangs - they work well. He's 230lbs and they support him with no problem. There was an inversion table at my old gym and I liked it. I don't have room for that at home but I do have a pullup bar and these do the trick.Thick cushion protects my ankles well and once you convince your brain that your feet won't slide out of the boot, you can relax and get the stretch. It took me a few days to figure out how to mount the bar - I needed my son to help me for the first week or so - but once I got my technique down, it's easy. (PS: It's not about abs, it's about technique - tell yourself you're going to hook your knees over the bar and you'll get there). Comes with a strap to dangle from the bar to pull yourself up and dismount. Definitely hang that strap the first time. I don't need it anymore but I sure did need it the first few times. Dismounting IS about ab strength. I ALMOST took one star away because the latch bent on me the second time I used it. Might have been my fault - the first few times I used the boots I put them on a few inches above my ankle. TIGHT FIT. Too tight, and when I tried to snap the latch shut it bent. Now the safety catch won't engage. You don't need the safety if you wear them with the latch facing out. Now I put them on all the way down - almost touching the top of my foot and they close smoothly.Overall a great product for the price and worth getting if you want to spend a few minutes inverted after your workout.

This will be a long review for good reasons. I’ve had back problems since age 15. And now 73. Went to orthopedic surgeon and many chiropractors. Some temporary relief but no real long-term relief until I started doing an inversion board. I use a total gym to get in 45° angle. Unable to do the inversion swing, which is too hard on my head and back. This works perfectly for me. The ankle pads are very well built and reasonably comfortable. It takes a certain amount of athleticism to get into the position where this will help your back. Good for the whole body. 90% of Americans will have back problems sometime in their life. Very few creatures walk upright like humans. Very useful device once you figure out how to use it.

These boots are well made and the extra safety device on the clasps is a welcome upgrade to my old boots. Unfortunately they cut off the circulation in my feet in approximately 1 minute of use and are painful to use. I bought them to replace my 90s era boots that were showing their age. With my old boots I could easily stay upside down for 3 min. or more. I tried these last night and I had to stop before 2 minutes because my feet were killing me. I'm not a large man 5'8 170 lbs., but these boots must be made for tiny and/or extremely skinny people. I'm hoping they will break in with use. Add-on: I realized after I wrote this review that the hooks are lower than on my previous boots. They were squeezing my feet between the foot wrest and the hook on bar on my inversion table. If I wear them without my sneakers they feel somewhat better but still not as comfortable as my old boots. The foam on these is softer and allow the metal part of the boot to angle up against my legs creating a pressure point.

These are well made and did make my back feel better after using them to hang. I expect replace them with a better version eventually. My two gripes are this:1) Not adjustable. They are just a bit big for my ankles, wish I could tighten them.2) They hurt the top of my feet, partly because they’re not adjustable and partly because the cushioning is so-so. Maybe as I use them more my feet will get used to it. But because they’re a little big, it feels like I have to point my toes upward really hard or else it’s even more uncomfortable. I was expecting my body weight would be suspended by my calves or ankles, but it’s not - it’s suspended by the tops of my feet. Something to keep in mind.For those reasons on day 1 I was only able to do sets of 60s, maybe one set of 90s.Also recommend getting a much heavier duty strap than what comes with the boots. The strap that comes with is better than nothing, a rope or thicker webbing makes pulling yourself up much easier.

5'11" ~200lbs male in good shape physically. These work great for me. I have zero concern about their sturdiness. The foam padding is quite thick and comfortable. My feet seem to slide very very slowly when I'm barefoot; they are perfectly comfortable and I do not slip at all when I'm wearing shoes. I have no problem suspending myself from a pull-up bar in my doorway (though I highly recommend tying a rope to it, to aid in pulling yourself back up to dismount). Very helpful for lower back pain. Fantastic product at this price!

It does what the video describes, nothing wrong with the one I got, very sturdy and strong enough to hold my weight. Padding around legs are comfortable enough to put my full weight against. Only problem is the difficulty of getting up to the pole to dangle off of, and getting off the pole.

El producto a simple vista parece que está bien, pero es una pena que se haya roto la espuma de protección apenas usarlo un par de veces.Por eso lo voy a devolver. La protección es muy frágil.

Die Funktion ist super. Es macht was es soll, aber leider ist die Polsterung schon nach ca. 10 mal hängen aufgerissen. Ich habe mich mit dem Problem bei Händler gemeldet aber leider keine Antwort erhalten. Bin auf der Suche nach neuen mit einer besseren Polsterung.
