I needed to pass a couple of network cables and a coax cable through a wall out in my workshop and didn't want to mess with a bunch of wall adapters and other things. I ended up using these, one of each side of the wall, and they worked great. I found the easiest way to install them was to pass the wires through the wall, put them through the wall plate, and then slide the wall plate up to the wall and attach it. If you are looking for a "quick and dirty" solution that still looks pretty good, I found these to be a good solution.

Very good quality (not from China!). Installed as needed and fit/finish was excellent. The rubber gasket was pliable and does a good job of closing out the larger opening behind. Flexible enough to close out around the wires.

I love the idea of this but definitely not made for more then 1-2 cables.It was easy to install, just cut a hole I. The dry wall and attach the mount then run your cables and attach like a plug cover. The rubber piece that holds the cords is very flexible but again we put 4 cables through it and it deformed it some. Would be gray for just a few cables

These install easy and look nice for the most part, but the biggest issue I have with it is that the rubber gasket wants to pull off the face plate. This is almost guaranteed to happen if you need to pull or push any cables running through it in/out of the wall. Once it detaches it looks broken and is impossible to reattach without removing the wall plate again. If the manufacturer has a better way of locking it to the face plate or even using some sort of plastic weld/adhesive they would likely be great! (I suppose if you're handy you could use some sort of adhesive yourself but that just adds more time before you can actually install anything waiting for glue to dry)A great perk of these over a lot of the other cable pass-throughs that use brushes is that it has better clearance when using the orange new work low voltage box brackets. Many of those are too small for the brushed plates so the faceplate will not sit flush with the wall without basically taking a dremel and milling out the bracket (total pain in the butt and weakens the bracket).Fix the rubber so it doesn't fall off if you so much as look at it and these would be 5 star!

Très facile d'installation. Nous avons simplement fait un trou rectangulaire dans le gypse, plus petit que celui du centre de la plaque et une fois les fils passés, on fixe la plaque directement dans le gypse. Pas besoin de boîte ou de cadre. Toutefois, la petite vis blanche fournie sert uniquement si vous fixez la plaque dans une boîte métallique car son extrémité est plate. Nous avons donc utilisé des vis #6 avec une pointe (que nous possédions) pour piquer dans le gypse. C'est pourquoi nous avons enlevé une étoile.
