Coming off 5+ years of being true to Altras (which have been a bit of a let down in terms of quality over time), these shoes have exceeded my expectations after making a much researched switch! The wide toe box was not a concession and while these are not a perfect 0 drop, the 5MM drop on these has not been noticeable. What I really like is the cushioned, slight rocking feel. While this pair is my daily running/hiking shoe, I plan to get a second pair to wear around the house...they are that comfortable for my needy feet!

I love this shoes, the large toe box is perfect for wide feet like mine. It’s not pretty though, but when you’re training for long hikings, comfort is much more Important than beauty

I owned a pair of ultraventures last year and I loved them, so I decided to get a second pair 1/2 size larger. The new shoes are not the same as the old version. The fit is good, but there is virtually no tread on the bottom. The lugs are very minimal. I hike 8+ miles per day. After 2 weeks, the bottoms are already wearing down. I doubt they will last 2 months. I am very disappointed. I love Topos; I hope they don't cheapen their shoes to expand profit margins. The same thing happened to Altras. I used to wear Altras, but switched to Topos when Altra quality declined.

Love the wide toe box, great foot support and traction. These are my favorite trail runners and they even feel good when I run on pavement.

I have been a fan of Hoka tennis shoes for the past seven years when someone recommended the Topos to me all I can say is wow!!! words cannot describe how supportive and comfortable these shoes are!! you look forward to putting them on and you never wanna take them off completely cradle and support your foot. Love them would buy again.
