We have 4 pairs of skis in here. 1 adult and 3 kids. Super happy with this solution! Easy to assemble, very little assembly. Super study. Great buy!

I was interested in this ski rack because of its advertised steel construction and high capacity in a compact space. Unfortunately, the rack didn't deliver on the promise. You have to assemble the rack — it comes as four two-ski sections that are attached together by special connector pieces. The connector pieces don't use screws to connect; instead they interlock with slots cut into the base section. I found it somewhat annoying to assemble the rack as it was difficult to get all three parts to line up at the same time. Despite the initial difficulty in assembling, the connectors fit loosely and the legs kept falling out as i was putting the rack in position. I even used a mallet to seat the connecting pieces but it didn't help. Then i discovered the real problem with this rack: half the slots are unusable because they're too close together! if you put a pair of skis in the rear slot, the bindings get in the way of putting another pair in the front slot. it kinda sorta works if i put my long skis in the back and my wife's much shorter skis in the front, but it's still too close to be ideal. Another issue is that the doesn't hold the skis securely upright. the rack is too shallow and the skis fall to an angle once they're in the rack. Even with the feet attached, the rack was close to falling over if i didn't make sure that alternate skis were leaning opposite to one another. While many of my skis fit the rack, the widest pair of powder skis does not — check dimensions of your skies to make sure they fit.All in all, the modular construction is interesting, but the end product isn't very good.

This is an interesting ski rack. You need to assemble it. It has clever connecting pieces, which generally hold the parts together very snugly. The only issue I find is that on one side, the legs (also a connecting piece) are a bit loose, unlike all the rest which are tight. This makes the rack slightly less stable on that side. The openings are quite large in order to fit the large variety sizes of skis. It is not for snowboards. So some skis do flop over a bit.I will end up using this for holding skis while I tune them.

The TOPOWN Alloy Steel Freestanding Snow Ski Storage Rack works well holding four sets of skis. It has eight compartments so you could put each ski in it's own space but usually put them together and they fit into one space. It can hold kid and adult skis. With the kids skis, they are thin enough that I could use each compartment to hold up to eight sets of skis.It was easy to assemble other than I ran into an issue where one of the notches was bent and the foot would not fit in. I was able to fix it with a screw driver, then the foot slid in. It feels sturdy and I am not worried about it tipping over. The compartments are so wide that the skis can fall sideways, but they did not fall out. It can also store poles.

Impressive construction and quality. Easy to assemble without tools, everything fits well together and there aren't any wonky corners or anything. There were great assembly instructions, but no instructions for use. I'm assuming we loaded it up as intended, with the skis paired up with the binding brakes holding them together and then the pair placed straddling the center plate of the holder section. I'll include a photo since this is difficult to explain. Loading them this way allows them to stand upright. If I wanted to lean them and not have them straddle the center plate, I could honestly get more than four pair into this storage system. It is certainly heavy and stable and is so much nicer than just leaning a bunch of skis against a corner! It looks very nice and it seems like it will allow for melting snow to drip away.

Pros:- Heavyweight; stands on its own quite securely.- Cutouts allow for more air flow.- Setup is flexible; can be placed independently, or together. Use one; two; however many you need. Store/gift the rest.Cons:- I don't care for the motif (words/flag), but that is subjective.- One of the metal pieces was damaged/slightly dented. Did not affect functionality. At $80 (at the time of this review) this is worthy of investment. Shipping was super fast.
