I'm not sure where it was installed. But I just had to replace a Drum Unit that was dumping toner. I do not know if it was this one. Just for your information.

This unit constantly stops working and tells me to slide the green slider tab. It will work a few times and then stop with the error again. Worthless.

Look closely at the photo shown. It look a lot like the Genuine Brother product, but it's not.Also, there is a protective sticker that holds a piece of paper onto the drum to protect it during shipping. This sticker leaves a residue on the case that was somewhat difficult to clean off. Regarding the performance of the drum, I only have a few prints on it, and it does seem to work ok with a genuine brother toner cartridge.

Purchased in July 2023. By December 2023 print looks faded and will not darken no matter what the setting is. I am not a heavy user at all.

2 Weeks after using it start giving drum error code, no help from manufacture. I wish I can return this peace of garbage
