Popped right in. Worked right away. It connected to the T mobile network with no problems. I really enjoyed the personal note that came with it from the seller that said to contact him if anything went wrong with activation. Made it more people friendly. I had a gsm phone (T-Mobile, AT&T) laying around that had more storage than the cdma one I was using (Verizon) , so I just switched sims, transferred number and phone is “moving right alongâ€. Very happy with the purchase, will definitely recommend to everybody.

I have a 'old' Tracphone phone that I last used a couple of years ago (I live overseas at the moment). I wanted to start using the phone while on a visit to the USA and I was told be Tracphone that I needed to get a new SIM. I ordered the SIM and tried to activate it with the help of Tracphone. The Tracphone agent was fairly useless, running through the same script again and again with no success. I contacted the vendor and he was fantastic. Even though he was on vacation he carefully talked through what I needed to do. It turned out that the card I needed was the Verizon variety (something the first Tracphone rep never discovered). I called Tracphone back and everything was set up!!!

I have used Trackfone for a very long time, 15-20 years. Now that Verizon owns Trackfone, any new phone must use a Verizon SIM card. That is fine if you have Verizon cell towers. I don't. What we have done for years is bring your own phone to Trackfone and use a SIM card from a company that has a cell tower near me. I got a Trackfone Sim Kit from Amazon. Got the kit the next day! I was on the phone with three different people more than a hour. Bottom line, I must use a Verizon SIM card that will not work where I live. Amazon Is not making money when things are returned.

The tech support was nice but not enough of it. It was a tracfone product, but didn't offer tracfone as one of the three offered services. I didn't try to install it and it was a waste of money for me!

This review is in conjunction with my review of the Ulefone Note 16 Pro because it did not work as I expected. I don't know if the problem lies with the Ulefone or with the SIM card. But Tracfone Tech Support told me that my Ulefone Note 16 will not work with any Tracfone SIM card.
