I recently started brewing my own green tea and found out that the optimum temperature for this brew is 175 degrees. This little beauty has a program setting for 176 degrees. Just fill it with clean water, push the button and it beeps when it's done, making a perfect cup of tea in my defuser. I can't love this enough. Makes brewing tea very simple and it's portable too! It's been one of the best kitchen appliances I've ever had. Bravo!!!

I'm a flight attendant and make coffee every morning on layovers. I hate cleaning out coffee makers every trip so I decided to buy this kettle to boil water and bring my instant Italian espresso that I sealed in foil packets. It's working beautifully! I had hoped to use it on the plane but I'm not allowed to use an appliance like this when we're flying. Also I don't want to drink airplane water so I boil the water in the airport before we board and take this with me. It stays hot for a long time. It seals nicely and hasn't leaked on me. I'm thrilled I found this little kettle and it will travel with me from here on out.

I have food allergies, so traveling internationally can be difficult. I found this kettle to use with my allergy-friendly camping meals that I took with me. I love that you can pick the different temperature settings, and it will keep it warm as long as it's plugged in. It worked pretty quickly, heating room temp water to boiling in about 5-6 minutes. If you're going to take this internationally, you'll need a watt converter. Otherwise, it won't work. I used this one that is both a watt converter and step-down converter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2X8V5F5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1The one thing I don't like is that the nice bag that comes with the kettle doesn't have enough room for the power cord. It would be nice if the cord fit in too, but it wasn't a huge deal breaker for me since I was carrying multiple cords with me (for the watt converter).

Great product! Easy to operate and heats water up quickly! Pours out really well too. The travel case is also very nice!

I bought this for our New Year's Trip. I don't drink coffee so I don't like using those coffee machines in the hotel rooms that are gross and make the water taste like coffee. This device is so easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of room. It comes with its own travel case too! It's light and you can choose the temperature of water you want just like the larger hot kettles we all have in our kitchens. I definitely recommend getting one of you're hesitating. You'll love it and wonder why you didn't get one sooner.

Works perfectly! Great to travel with and use in my tea room when I make small cups of tea at a time for 1 person. Great addition to my Japanese tea set.

Disliked:A crucial piece of information that was not included in description but was on instruction sheet that came with item was: "This product can be used at altitudes of less than 1200 meters (3937 feet) with the lid on to boil water. When altitude is higher than 1200 meters, open lid to boil water, do not close to boil water."I live at almost 6000 feet in altitude. The spill proof design if tipped over is null and void if I have to boil water with an open lid and it can potentially be a hazard for burns if accidentally knocked over.In description it said it would heat water to set temperature within 5-7 minutes. Not true. More like 7+ minutes. It says if using the lid (which I couldn't because of the altitude but I think it is important to note for those that can use the lid) that you must wait 2-3 minutes before opening lid.If you choose a temperature setting and you have to wait 2-3 minutes before opening the lid the water temperature begins cooling immediately upon shut off. Technically you won't get the desired temperature.Instructions that came with item also stated that this kettle will maintain temperature up to two hours without power. Not true. To begin with, I set the kettle at 212° and it never reached that temperature with lid on (I only tried this once because of the instructions about the altitude). It only reached 206° and with power on, mind you, following the instructions of waiting the 2 minutes before opening the lid the temperature dropped to 200°, at 3 minutes it dropped to 196°. I also tried this without the lid. It took longer than 8+ minutes to boil and shut off and it only reached 206°. Without the lid at the 2 minute mark the temperature dropped to 196° and at the 3 minute mark it was at 192°. I know I wouldn't have to wait the 2-3 minutes without the lid but as a reference, if I wasn't right there when it shut off to get the water at it's peak heat, the water would be cooling off rapidly.Instructions also stated that the kettle will maintain temperature at minimum of 113° for up to 12 hours with power on, then automatically switch off after 12 hours and slowly cool down. I don't know if this feature is true. I didn't bother to try it.The instructions say not to plug the kettle in without water. But it's easier to plug it in and then use a glass /cup to fill it with water. If you try to fill the kettle from the sink and then try to plug it in, it's not easy to keep the plug cover open, hold the kettle at a tilt to see where the plug goes in.I am returning this product for these reasons and...Side note:I bought this for my 98 year old mother. Up to now she was using our stove top whistling tea kettle for her every morning tea. She has been struggling to hold on to things because she has very deformed hands from her arthritis and is dropping things. This tea kettle was getting too big for her to handle with water in it. She also is deaf without her hearing aids and is exhibiting dementia type memory loss. If she forgets to put her hearing aids in she won't hear the whistling tea kettle. With and without the hearing aids she has forgotten that she turned the whistling tea kettle on. Time to get rid of the stove top tea kettle. Why I bought this kettle:I was looking for something for Mom that was small, lightweight and safe from spills. I liked the readable temperature display feature and easy temperature settings and of course the automatic shut off to prevent boiling dry. I thought this would work for Mom. Unfortunately with issues I had after trying out the product that I've listed above, this won't work for her.I also didn't take into consideration that with her crooked hands she would struggle to open and close the lid and struggle plug and unplug the kettle. And without a handle she would struggle to hold the kettle to pour the water. So add these physical limitations Mom has to the faults in the product I am returning the product.
