I initially bought 6 and they were fun and easy to install so I’ve purchased 12 more! The bright light looks great on my front step railings. I’ll put the other ones on the back deck posts. Even if they only last a year- they are worth it for the price, so far the original 6 are still bright and working well. I haven’t installed the other ones yet- I’m waiting until I get the deck stained. I’m happy with the purchase!

We're doing a lot of home repairs and upgrades at the moment and I wanted to focus not just on the inside but the outside of my house. The caps are stunning in person and add a much needed amount of light to the yard at night. They don't blind you, but add that bit of ambience that makes our house feel more like a home. The mounting process couldn't be easier and would be a cinch for even the most novice DIYers. The switch allows you to turn them On/Off/Choose which color light you want, opening up possibilities of alternating lights in the chain or turning them off entirely if you don't want them to run every night. I'm a huge fan of "set it and forget it" type products, so this one was a no-brainer when buying. Also eliminates the need to run wire along the fence as you just use the free energy from the sun!

I redid the railings in my backyard and wanted some lights on the post. I found these solar powered lights on Amazon. They looked cute and dimensions seemed to match. They came with a black base to even extend the size. They were easy to install. However they are slightly too big for my post and upon closer inspection you can see they over hang a bit. I didn’t feel like getting picky and I do like the product so I will be screwing them into the post. I am a NY native and now that the days are getting longer the light is getting dimmer and not lasting through the night. Just an observation to add to anyone interested.Update: The days are getting longer with more sun in the yard. I am truly impressed at how bright they have been from night till dawn. The weather has been extra cold and snowy but the lights have remained bright! Also worth a mention, (not recommended) I never got a chance to screw the caps on and they have stayed on the post with over 60 mile an hour winds!!!

Edit: Mu parents just sent me a picture of their deck and I figured I'd add it here.I got these lights for my parents as an early Christmas gift for their new deck and they love them. They were packaged well, easy to install, and have held up great so far in the early parts of a Wyoming winter. My parents are having an easier time going up and down the stairs and night because everything is well lit and I have less anxiety knowing they can see better.Overall I’m happy with the functionality of these lights definitely recommend them.

I wasn’t expecting much when I bought these however I’m pleasantly surprised! They look really nice and the price is right. Their instructions on assembly aren’t very detailed but once you figure them out you won’t be disappointed. If you’re using them on 5†posts you have to pull out the insert in order to attach the plastic bracket for the 5†posts. I love these lights!!!

I purchased the six pack, but I only needed to use one for a post at the end of the driveway. Unfortunately, the 1200 mah battery is soldered. I need to be able to remove and replace the batteries since most will be stored for a long time. 5 stars for looking great, option of cool and warm light and long battery capacity.
