I've used these sanding pads for years making pens. I prefer these to Zona paper and micromesh.

I purchased this set to finish CA finishes on turnings. Upon arrival I inspected the sanding pads and realized the 600 and 800 are closer to 60 and 80 grits. They are so coarse they would scratch the finish beyond the ability of the 1500 grit to remove all the scratches they caused. The finer grit pads are accurately marked apparently and work as expected. So far they are holding up well. Not sure how 60 and 80 grits can be passed off as 600 and 800 but it happened. Perhaps it is only the set I purchased but I would not roll the dice and buy another time to find out.

Gives a great finish, very polished, very smooth, especially since they are used wet. Many applications for this fine product.
