This swimsuit has an athletic cut that is great for training!

Great suit. Well made and comfortable. Love it. Have been using it for couple months. Best training suit I have ever owned.

These are made with Tyr's Durafast Elite fabric- Which is a poly/spandex blend and is VERY chlorine resistant. Suits made of this material usually last me several months of daily lap swimming. The cut/style is a little different than most jammers. They have a pretty wide waist band, which makes them feel a bit awkward to me. Leg cuffs have a 'gripper' material on the back, and they fall just above the knees, which I find to be the perfect length. Good coverage but not too restrictive.Sizing is accurate- Order your normal size, and you'll be fine. I like a more snug fit so I usually go down one size, but that is a personal preference.

I purchased this suit less than 3 months ago and swim laps for 45 minutes twice weekly. I always rinse suit following swim. The lining on both legs fell apart and all the elastic lining came out like a hand full of rubber spaghetti. I've swum laps for 25 years and have never had a suit come part after such a short period of time. This was one of the more expensive TYR suits listed on Amazon. I would not recommend this purchase.

Jammers were fine for the first 30 swims. Then I noticed elastic thread hanging from the bottom. By swim 31 it completely unraveled. Not sure what was "elite" about this product.

TYR is a well know high end swimwear company, and I had high expectations for these jammers. Fortunately, these held up to training use in a well chlorinated public pool. Fit was snug, as expected for a proper swim jammer, but not too tight on the thighs (triathlon friendly in this regard, fitting this body type). The material is slightly thicker than normal, especially around the waist- but did not cause me any issues in the water. The material feels high end when you are using it. The drawstring is thick, and properly spaced (other jammers often drop the ball here). The stitching is robust, so these should hold up well to a winters worth of masters swim suffering. Overall, quite pleased with the Tyr jammers.

EDIT: After about two months, the stitching has started to fade even though I typically rinse out the suit after each swim and the leg stitching is starting to come loose. Still like the fit/length, which is in between a jammer and square leg!Switched from Speedo endurance briefs to jammers for something different for daily pool swims. Fit is good and grip material around legs is not bad. Material is less scratchy than Speedo Endurance, but higher spandex content, so hoping lifetime is still okay!

I got these for my 11yo son who happens to wear a 26 size jammer. He swims competitively. We use a lot of different brands and these are his favorites. They look cool, fit well, and dry quickly. These aren't inexpensive but the pricing is in line with other competitive swimmer brands. They really are great. Easy recommendation.
