Good quality colored refills, they have a waxier finish and break easier than regular graphite but very good for drawing. Great value!

Color is not very bright, almost brown if drawn lightly. You must make it bold for the red to be picked up by a scanner as red. For those who are confused, I have to make corrections to electrical prints in the field and those corrections are hand drawn in red. I then scan/send them thru a printer directly to engineering as a pdf. If the red isn't bright enough it won't get picked up by the printer and create mistakes. So either stick with Ink red or spend more time making bold print. Really wish it was a deeper more vibrant red.

This lead is super soft and breaks constantly. It is obnoxious to use for writing or note taking.
