Great value, had to send back the first one i got because of Low Volume called Amazon about yhe problem they sent out a New one and had it within 24 hours, the New radio works lije a Charm!Thank you Amazon!

Good radio for the priceIt is large in size and would not recommend to install it in a regular car. But would work great in a full size truck or possibly van with lots of under dash space or overhead space.Hard to tell the quality of the radio when so much of it depends on a quality antenna and adjustments. But it appears to work well.If I had a chance to do it over, I would pick a smaller radio that scans all channels instead of being locked into 1 channel at a time.Was different 10 years ago when all trucks traveling East /West would use a specific channel. But now days it’s scattered over any channel. But in doubt go to ch. 19One negative when I received the radio the casing had a couple dings in it. Might be from pre assembly or ? (Don’t think it was during shipping) but does not seem to affect its performance.

We have sold this radio for over 20 years in our Retail Store.This is More dependable than ANY COBRA 29 ...When Cobra started Uniden made all their radios til 1996

Easy to operate, and works well. Looks very similar to the Grant XL but I wish it would be offered with SSB. FM is great as long as you’re close to another FM radio. Overall, I’m happy with it

I have the same radio on all my trucks. But this was the best price i paid for it. Definable will order for all my next/new trucks. Better price than the truck stops or best buy.

Had to return the Uniden Cb I purchased. First the box looked like it had been opened and closed multiple times, but the cb appeared brand new so I was relieved to see that. Unfortunately when I tested it on a known power supply which I use on many radios, this uniden made a terrible tone that can not be squelched out and volume knob doesn’t change its odd ringing or tinnitus sound coming from the radio. Im Leary to order another one, but I want to because the transmit is beautiful sounding and I was sad to send this back, but the ringing was too annoying to deal with when listening to incoming stations.
