I purchased this after I noticed my baby uncomfortable with he standard belt buckle on the safety 1st infant car seat. She likes this one better since it doesn't dig into her thighs

This is extremely long in comparison to the normal one that goes to my car seat. I had to put it in the hole that’s furthest away and swing it under and through the other hole for newborns to take away some slack. Now it’s at an okay level of height. But, it’s still quite long. If this was shorter it would be great. It buckles in place and stays put. But I don’t feel it’s as good as the original that came with the car seat. I’d hope we don’t get into any accidents to find out.

It was great to get this in because my dog at the original piece for my grandsons car seat, but this one the metal price on the bottom, that holds it in the seat, is too small so as he moves around in his seat it can come out. Not a great design
