I used this to trap cats with a drop trap and 12 volt batter. It works very well and from a good distance. I have used it through wood doors and walls and also from inside a house. I haven't used it for its intended purpose on cars, but it activates the lock every time.

Key entry kit works hasn't intended INS.Ulation and wiring was simple.The only reason I took one star away.It's because you can't program it.To unlock one door at a time.And I don't like that with 1 press of the Button it unlocks all doors I wish it was programmable to unlock one door only with 1 button press and all doors with 2 button press

package is missing the owner's manual which makes wiring installation very difficult and time consuming not to mention fire hazard if you wire it by guessing
