As others have mentioned, the accuracy of this meter is very poor. No matter how many turns of wire you use or where you place them , the numbers vary sooo much it is not much more than a blinking light show.Having followed the instruction exactly it is a disappointing tach.

This little beast was perfect for the application to add a tach to my Shadow 600. Easy to install, plenty of cable, and once I got it set up, it doesn't disappoint.

The readout is x10 so you have to add a zero in your head to the number shown. The rpm was all over the place and never stayed steady. Followed all instructions to the letter. No joy. I am returning this for a refund. The display was super bright though and easy to see. That was worth 2 stars.

I couldn’t rate this product yet as I haven’t hooked it up yet … seems to be an odd way of installing the wires etc .

did not work on my harley, single fire ignition and coil came with only wires red ,black white and a yellow and black with plug for switch wrapped it , it worked for a few minutes and then it started showing random numbers on display ,, oh well im just going to eat the expense because it is not worth the effort to return and exchange
