Having used many strut press before, this one by far impressed me. Even compared to the 1k dollar unit minutes to the wall. Highly recommended.

Worked on icon 2.5 external resi with 700lbs springs / worked on bp51s with external resiMake your you grease threads and run it back and forth a few times before you compress the springs. I suggest you use a ratchet instead of an impact.

I haven't use these compressor, however, I've used the Schwaben ones and they look identical. Giving it 4 stars since I haven't use it. Will update in the future if able to.

This thing is YUGE! It seems pretty stout and fits coils that have very little space between them. Pictured is a strut from a Tacoma TRD Pro. They also fit my Bilstein shocks perfect. My only complaint is the Allen bolts to mount the coil “plates†to the compressor seem not so heavy duty but I don’t think there’s much stress on those. Would be easy to replace at any hardware store.

Before using this tool, grab some all purpose grease and generously grease the main screw the entire way, and run the screw all the way both directions to evenly distribute the grease. Wipe it down and then use the tool. Doing this will stop it from binding and/or stripping out and save you headaches later. I used this to take the front strut assemblies apart on a 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport and it worked perfectly. Much easier than traditional HF tools and it has a great carrying case too. Great tool!!

I went to two different shops to swap coil springs on new shocks. They both said it can not be done because the springs are not straight. Wi this tool 2 hours later it was done
