This steel wool worked perfectly for stuffing into cracks to keep rodents out. I really appreciate the added mesh they included—it's a great extra layer of protection. Easy to use, everything you need is included in the box. I would recommend.

I placed this in my attic over by the soffit where there was some evidence of mice. It has been up there for about a week and so far no mice have come back. I do think it is a little early to tell, so i will update if things change. It is very easy to cut and place in any size hole. I like that is comes with the wire mesh. That is another level of protection. It is a hole kit with gloves and scissors. The gloves will fit most if not all people.

I had a project to replace some of the siding on our chimney prior to repainting the house. When removing the aged siding I saw that there was a gap between the siding and the cinderblocks caused by the furring strips. There's a large number of wasps building nests in those spaces. That's no good! This Steel Wool & Wire Mesh Gap Filler seemed like the perfect option to seal up those gaps and keep out the bugs. The stainless mesh holds the steel wool well and was large enough to get my hand inside to pull the wool through. The mesh also allowed me to staple the barrier to the bottom of the furring strips without being visible or coming in contact with the roof. It seems to seal up those gaps while still allowing air behind the felt I added for moisture barrier. (I had to replace some furring strips that were damaged due to water getting in.) I think this should work really well and I couldn't think of any other solution. The materials are good quality and I'm really happy I found this option.

Purpose for Product: Mouses are Baaaaack. Sealed every place I could find with hardware cloth but it is really hard to make it secure. Already trapped several of the mice so, this is supporting plan B.Product Inspection: This steel wool kit includes some stainless-steel wire mesh that supports the pricing which is at the higher end. Gloves and scissors are included.Product Performance: Don't know that there is anything extraordinary about this product. Installed the steel wool inside the already hardware clothed locations as a final barrier. Saving the stainless-steel stuff as a backup.Summary: Nothing special going on here and certainly not budget friendly in my humble opinion.

Steel Wool & Wire Mesh work great for rodent control. Usually you have to buy those two items separately, so it’s really convenient that PAMAZY sells them as a set. Because you’re going to need both. Trust me, we’ve been fighting rodents for years, mainly mice and pack rats. Get this stuff now, even before you see any mice or rats. Because once they get in, it’s going to be that much harder to get rid of them. The roll of mesh is great for covering longer surfaces. For example, we have a cargo container that sits on a concrete slab, but the rats still manage to squeeze underneath. So we ran wire mesh all along the edges, making a strong barrier than they can’t pull out or chew their way through. Double or triple it up if you have to, and push it in tight. You can also wrap the mesh around things like exposed insulated pipes that you don’t want rats to gnaw on, or to cover vent openings. The mesh is stainless steel so it won’t rust.Steel wool is good for bunching up to fill holes and conforming to fit odd shapes. Stuff some steel wool in any holes, cracks, or gaps around pipes. Cut a piece slightly larger than the opening so it compresses as you push it into place, and then it will expand to fit tightly in the opening. The sharp steel fibers stick in place like Velcro and won’t work their way out. Unlike regular steel wool, this special stainless steel wool won't rust or corrode. You can also use the steel wool and wire together for extra protection where needed.PAMAZY makes it easy to create a permanent rust-resistant barrier that mice, rats and other pests like ground squirrels are unable to chew through. They even include a pair of gloves to protect your hands from the sharp steel fibers. They also provide a pair of scissors for cutting the steel wool and wire mesh so you don’t have to worry about dulling your own scissors. All in one nice handy package!

I noticed a 3 inch hole next to the outside door to my attached garage. I tried to patch it with a tube of caulking and a plastic "wire" patch, but the rodents eat all the caulking and patch (nothing left).I ordered the Steel Wool & Wire Mesh Fill Hole Fabric for Mice Control and was very pleasantly surprised with the high quality and completeness of the package. The kit has steel wool, steel mesh, scissors and protective gloves. All that is needed (except some paint and masking caulking).i read the directions and carefully cut the steel wool and the steel mesh as needed. I used the protective gloves to keep the steel wool from my hands. the mesh encompassed the steel wool. I carefully stuffed the steel package of mesh and wool into the hole. I used some additional caulking and paint to cover the "package".It has been a week and the "patch" held. No hole through the patch. I think the patch will last (the caulking only lasted one day). There is plenty of material for many "holes". This was a good solution to my problem. Hope it works for others too.
