Fixed my intermittent starting problem in my 1988 Porsche 944. I used to beat in the old DME relay ( fuel pump relay ). No more hitting. Works every time. Best $20 I ever spent.

Have had my 1992 Porsche 968 for 15 years and never had a problem with it starting. Don't drive it much and it had sat for 8 months. Wouldn't start and after a little research found out that these can go bad. Ordered this, plugged it in, and she started right up! I am very happy. Ordered a second one to have as a spare! A sweet deal!!

Was having the dreaded failing DME issues and ordered this as a replacement. Plug and play. Works perfectly and solved the fuel pump shutoff issues. 1987 Porsche 944 n/a.

This part tested and worked for a few minutes, but by the next morning the part had failed. Utter trash.

944 DME Relay's can fail overtime without warning. I puchased this one as a backup to carry with the car. I checked it for fit and operation and all was good. I only gave it 4 stars because I can't make an opinion on its longevity. It does appear to be manufactured solidly. I have purchased other URO parts and they have held up well. The price is well below OEM.

Great to have as a backup.My issue was not the DME relay though, it was the connectors the DME relay presses into.After removing the fuse panel, I completely stripped the fuse panel, cleaned and squeezed all the terminals then reassembled it and reinstalled it in the 944.With age and when testing circuits sometimes the connectors stretch and need to be squeezed back to original to obtain full contact again.Three years later and still no issues and no more electrical gremlins.
