Well made reamer for its price. It is sharp and measured exactly 15.00mm. I’ve only used it on one job, so I can’t speak to the longevity of the edge or the steel used. I imagine with the proper feeds, speeds, and cooling it should stay sharp and dimensionally accurate for a while.

My 16 mm "chucking" reamer from China broke upon first contact with mild steel. This one works as either a hand reamer or (slowly and carefully) in a lathe, drill press, or mill. I find that hand reamers are more likely to last more than a single hole because they're more tapered than chucking reamers. If you need something for occasional use, this beats some other ones I've tried, and the price was good. Since the tapered part is long, it's not meant for cutting square to the bottom unless it's a through hole.

Advertised as a square chuck hand reamer. Recieved a circular chuck reamer. Cannot use in my application as it must be reamed by hand.UPDATE: I ended up getting one in 7mm and while it did have a square end to hand ream, it's out of spec. I was wondering why I was having issues getting this AK barrel pin to press in, even with a hydraulic press. After trashing 3 pins, I put these in a set of calipers, and it was obvious why I couldn't get it to press. This isn't a true 7mm reamer. I made absolutely certain that I didn't reverse the flutes at all, and even on the part that didn't get used, I was only able to get just under 7mm. This is absolutely unacceptable on such a precision tool. I wouldn't trust anything from this company at this point. Save your money and buy anything else. You're gonna have to anyway.

We used it for to end fit , ream new brass bushings after pressing them in the leaf spring eyes to have all the play out. we also used it on the vertical / horizontal mill to ream ( slow speed and oil ) the shakel brackets and plades. this reamer is still as sharp as it was as we bought it. Drill undersize for 18mm bolt and ream for nice slip fit. Turn only a reamer right, never not even out ,turn a reamer left !
