needed reduced shank for my 1/2" drill press chuck. drilled a "perfect" hole in Al, had to fit over a 14mm "boss" so needed to file slightly to gain a few microns clearance

The drill did the job that I wanted it to do, at less than half the price an Australian hardware store would have had it on sale for. The drill was sold as a High Speed Steel drill, although not marked as such, it did perform like a HSS drill. Although retired, I am a qualified Fitter and Machinist therefore, feel I can say that the drill satisfied me.

If I could rate as 0 I would. Drilled one hole in 3/16" plate after stepping up through various sizes of other bits and cooling with oil. After first hole, the tip of the bit was shattered and smoked. Couldn't get the second hole drilled completely and had to ream the hole with a die grinder. Good thing I only needed two holes.

Drilling out a hole from 13mm to 14mm, the bit snapped halfway through the job. This was the very first hole I used the bit on.
