Fit just like the original and easy to install. They come in different sizes, so make sure that the one you order is the same width and thickness as the one you took off. These are critical in replacements.

The quill spring on the Craftsman drill press is a known weak point. Without the spring, the drill press is pretty much useless. These inexpensive springs allowed me to repair the drill press in less than 10 minutes.

Fit perfectly! Leave the wire wrap on until it is in the metal cup, put it on a wood block on the floor, with the inside edges of your shoes holding it in place and pop in in with a big flat blade screwdriver - no boing, no stinging fingers!

I bought a few of these, and this was the only one that worked due to its OD size..so far for my 4910 Wen Drill press.It went in very easily with just a few pushes, and used a flat head screw driver to push in the remaining edges.Just remember, DO NOT remove the wire around the spring and it will install easily

I needed a replacement spring for my Porter Cable drill press I got at Lowes, this worked. I haven’t used it much but it seems to have done the trick. Price is pretty good, as long as it lasts as long as the original did…
