This Bb Clarinet swab by Vandoren is just what I needed. I just tried it for the first time and the swab pulled right through the instrument and did not get caught on the "swab catcher!" The microfiber is more absorbent than silk and will save wear and tear on the felt pads which tend to collect water and start leaking air over time.

I usually only buy Vandoren brand when it comes to products for my daughters Clarinet. Vandoren quality is always excellent and that holds true with this product.It has a nice weighted cord that drops easily through the instrument so you can pull the rest of the cleaning towel through. Excellent absorption and quick and easy to use.You can tell this is very high quality and should last for many years. I am very happy with this purchase.

This swab for Bass is two Bb uFiber sheets sewn together to the pull string in the center. This makes four "wings" around the pull string. Just cut one of them off leaving three wings. It is now the perfect size for my 18mm LeBlanc Alto. Also, being that the cut is in the very center of the swab, any fraying is unlikely to catch on your keywork.

I only use this for my Tenor Saxophone and it works fine, except pulling it through the neck takes a great effort to not only get it through but to also be careful in not bending the octave key. Other than the tight neck fit, it’s great! Fits through Tenor mouthpiece easily.

This swab did the job nicely. My only complaint is I wish it had a slightly weighted tip at the end like another swab that I have, but the swab still worked well enough.

I baulked at the cost of this piece of cloth but could find no alternative. Pleasantly surprised to find it very well made and easy to use. It is super absorbent and dries very quickly. The initial cost will become irrelevant as it will undoubtedly last a long, long time.

This clarinet swab works great! It soaks up moisture well and is easy to pull through the instrument because of heavier weight bar.
