- Can only spot dried urine stain. If there is no dry stain UV flashlight will not work;
- The ultraviolet led black light works best in dark environment, the darker it is, the better it works;
- The UV flashlight can only operate normally if the batteries are installed properly;
- When installing the battery, must identify the positive and negative poles, and install the battery holder in the direction of the arrow;
- Does not work on reflective surface or carpet with fluoresce;
- For few dark color carpets, the reflected stain color will be very close to the color of the carpet, making it harder to see;

This works so well! The filter light works perfectly, it’s comfortable in the hand and it has a loop to put around your wrist. Which also comes in handy, so I can hang it on the door knob of the hall closet, that is where our newly adopted shelter kitties spray, right outside my bedroom door. I can see where the urine stains are and catch them in the right spot. Very easy to use, love the design and definitely worth the money! Thank you for offering it here on Amazon!

It does work well. I was a bit nervous as to what I might see at first…. I have mini Dachshund and I wondered if I miss anything when it comes to cleaning floors after her at times. When I checked the boys bathroom I was happy to report they were doing a good job keeping the toilet area clean. I’ve brought it to casino hotels I’ve stayed at as well. Nothing terrible to report in this category either. Only a few small minor spots. Nothing I would complain to staff about. It’s vary light and easy to travel with. It really just puts my mind at ease. I love owning this.

One of our senior cats is experiencing dementia and is having accidents around the house. This black light is bright enough to find all the spots. Enzymic cleaners are not cheap (but they work amazingly well), and this light allows me to use it right where I need it so I’m not wasting any product. Overall, very pleased with this light.

I purchased this UV flashlight because I could smell cat pee but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. As soon as it arrived, I turned it on and—boom—found the accident instantly. Works well to spot messes and double check your cleaning. It would also be good to check out how clean your hotel room is. It has a large light surface and the battery life has been good on mine.

The brightness of the light is excellent, but it flickers when I use it, and I have to tap it on my hand to stop it. The light began to work better after I removed the bulb end and reseated the metal spring under the LED bulbs, and it stopped flickering for now. The light works very well and is bright; it just occasionally flickers. It makes many organic materials glow like chitin, and some insect's exoskeletons glow under the light. The price is reasonable, and overall, the light works. I think I just got a finicky unit. I would still purchase the light again; I think the manufacturer needs to design a better solution for holding the panel of LED bulbs in the head of the flashlight, and it would resolve the flickering issue.
