This is a quick and easy to use steamer. It is small but good size for one person. Getting the four snaps closed on the lid is not always easy, but if I get 3 snapped I’m ok and in the microwave it goes. The little white rack makes it easy to lift out and slide your food onto your plate. If you’re looking for something that is 100% error free to use, you probably would not like this. If you’re ok with only getting 2-3 of the 4 lid snaps closed then get it and just know your food will come out nicely steamed.

This works great for steaming vegetables. Cleans easily. I gave it a 4 because it is hard to remove the vegetables due to the heat from the steam. If it had short handles on 2 sides instead of the indentation for your fingers (which can get very hot), it would be perfect.

I love this steamer for all my veggies but most especially asparagus. I don have to wait long for anything to cook and my microwave stays lean because of the vent on the cover. I have bought other.pieces of Sistema .

It works. It does what it is suppose to as far as steaming but there isn’t an easy way to strain the water. There are no handles on the tray inside and no easy way to pour off water.

I like to steam fresh vegetables in the microwave and this steamer does the job. It's easy to clean in the dishwasher or by hand. The white tray will take on some color, like from carrots, but it's not for serving, so no biggie. Happy with my purchase.

It’s very small and not deep enough for anything but flat veggies or very small chopped veggies. Plastic feels very cheap and I should have listened to the bad reviews
