I've been using the RV parking space at my house as a staging area for construction debris during renovation. A LOT of nails and screws have wound up in the dirt as a result, and after a couple of flat tires I bought this to clean up the space. As soon as I started pushing it around I heard a steady clicking, which turned out to be hundreds of nails, screws, and assorted metal bits being pulled off the dirt. I pulled handfuls of them off the magnets by the time I was finished.This is an affordable option, it isn't very heavy, and definitely more effective than trying to find all the nails on my own.

If you do work outside where fasteners are involved one of these is a MUST when you're done. Nobody wants to step on a nail or screw, and they'll "hide" in the grass and other surrounding area for a long time before someone does. A magnetic broom is the exact tool necessary to pick those up and make sure they wind up in the trash where they belong.Note that long grass or other growth will "sweep" the metals off it, so you do need to use some care in that regard, but that's true for all of these. Reasonably-priced and it works.

I had a new roof installed and the company neglected to pick up the nails. As a result, I will put that in my review for the roofing company. But this was so easy to assemble and it worked perfectly. It gathered over 100 nails on the lawn. Thank you for making such a great product.

Works very well in my garage for picking up metal shavings from drilling metal. Pull up the handle and all the metal objects fall right off then sweep it right up. Strong magnet. Highly recommend. !!!

Picked these up from my grass after my new roof was installed and roofing crew ran their really big magnet. Every nail makes a very audible click as the magnet grabs it. Exceeds my expectations

Things I like about this magnet: it was $25~, it picks up screws, nails, metal bits and pieces, easy to assemble and tool included to do so. Things I dislike: the wheels have to be just under tight to rotate properly which will cause them to come off at some point, the wheels aren’t quite tall enough even in cut grass, grass will wipe off nails and things you pick up if you don’t clear the tool ALOT, the telescoping handle isn’t locking which causes it to collapse during use.All that being said, it was $25~, so it did as I expected for what I needed it to do, just maybe a little more frustrating than I intended. Probably best used on light duty and on gravel or hard surfaces as the wheels are not very tall (the magnet isn’t the most powerful either!) and even cut grass will wipe off anything you pick up if you don’t clear it often. If you have a large area to do, or you need to use it a lot, or even if you intend to use it solely in grass, I’d recommend looking at a better built product.

Used it for picking up 60 lbs of nails from a burn pile. Sometimes it picked up so many nails that it was difficult to pull up the handle to release.

Das Teil ist einfach mein Retter! Sonst bin ich nach dem drehen von Stahl mit einem magneten über den Boden gekrochen und auch an der Bohrmaschine tut es was es soll. Jetzt bin ich in 3 Minuten fertig und die magnetkraft ist wirklich ausreichend Zudem kann man die Höhe auch noch einstellen. TOP

Seems to do the job but can only collect so many nails before it needs emptying. Last 5 weeks till the bottom of the handle broke. The handle is also not long enough and does not stay fully extended when using. It was hard work to use. Do not recommend given it didn't even last. The magnet was not as strong as expected. Some nails and screws semi embedded in dirt needed loosening and sometimes would not pick them up. Overall OK but disappointed and now it's not even usable.
